FEMA Elevation Certificates are used for compliance with local building ordinances and to assist with determining flood insurance rates. Elevation certificates note the important features of your land which include the flood zone, location, and the lowest point of elevation. The lowest floor elevation is key to assessing the vulnerability for flood damage.
